Dealership With Car Donation Program

Nation SA, official Peugeot dealership in Rafaela, delivered a Peugeot 408 vehicle manufactured in Argentina to the Association of Mechanic and Related Workshops Owners of this city (APROTAME) that will be used in a training program in which A group of young people participate.
René Gagliesi, who presides over the entity that brings together 180 mechanics of the city, was in charge of receiving the key of the 0 Km unit valued at 195 thousand pesos during an emotional act that took place at the Nation Rafaela dealership - located on Roca Boulevard 649- with the presence of the mayor, Luis Castellano, the provincial senator, Alcides Calvo and authorities of the benefactor company.
The commercial director of Nation, Miguel Alberto, the manager of the Rafaela Branch, Alejandro Paporello, and the Zonal manager of Peugeot Argentina, Fernando Talamo were the authorities of the company that donated the car present at the ceremony. There were also the students of the Training Center of APROTAME and the teachers, who thanked for this "enormous contribution" that will allow to work in the training with a technologically current resource that even has a six-speed automatic transmission.
As the generation of new mechanical workshops is one of its premises of APROTAME, which has a Vocational Training Center in place, it needs elements to improve the practices of the young participants of the program, who have mostly had difficulties in finalizing their Mandatory studies.
Gagliesi recalled how this donation was managed: last year he was invited to participate in an act of donation of the automaker Peugeot -present in the city because a race of TC 2000 was disputed at the local Autodrome- in the Los Villeritos Hall of the Villa neighborhood Podium. In that area, he dared to ask the executives of the León brand "a molten engine to practice future mechanics." The response was unexpected, admitted the head of the entity. They promised him a car 0 Km.
And yesterday that promise was fulfilled, which is part of a national proposal of  Dealership With Car Donation Program Peugeot-Citroën called "Guardians of Education", a Social Responsibility program that is based on two fundamental pillars, such as road education and technical education. "The objective of the program, which is implemented through the network of official dealers, is to provide valuable study material to enrich the practical contents of the dictated chairs," said Nation.
With the Peugeot 408 students will be able to deepen their learning and their research in the subjects Motors, Transmission Systems, Steering, Suspension and Brakes, Power Systems, Electrical and Electronic Installations as well as carry out workshop practices.
Alberto recalled that the Nation Group was able to deliver five new vehicles (two in Santa Fe, one in Paraná and now two in Rafaela, since last year they delivered a Citroën to the School of Technical Education No. 460 Guillermo Lehmann). "We are really proud to contribute to the education and the great future of the country that are our young people. We are convinced that we must maintain these actions," said the Commercial Director of the concessionaire.
"This donation makes us feel very good, it satisfies us and it is a way of thanking a city that has received us very well, the people who choose us and accompany us," Alberto said.
For its part, Paporello remarked that "the concessionaire analyzed several alternatives but we decided to APROTAME because it is a non-profit institution that brings together young people to train them and that way they can have a better insertion in the labor market." In addition, he indicated that the vehicle delivered is a Peugeot 408 Allure 2.0 Plus Tiptronic, a name that is due to the fact that it is equipped with a state-of-the-art sequential automatic transmission.

In this way, with more than 220 donated cars, the Group makes its contribution and makes available, both for technical education and for young people across the country, state-of-the-art tools, promoting inclusion in the labor market.
The vehicle was delivered together with “Parra Automotores”, official dealer of the Citroën brand in Córdoba, and with the contribution of GEFCO Argentina.
“Groupe PSA Argentina has a long history in the promotion and improvement of technical education in our country through the Guardians of Education program. That is why donations are made with a single purpose, so that young students have a closer and more inclusive future. In each action we articulate with the government, at the Municipal, Provincial and National level, where the company cooperates in priority needs. ”, Said Rodrigo Pérez Graziano, Director of External Relations and Communication of Groupe PSA Argentina.
